Dear Associate,

This is Eric Hoffman from Panzer Solutions LLC, Please go through the below
requirement and let me know if you have any suitable consultant for below
position, If so, send me their updated resume and contact details.

*Job Title: Java Developer/Architect
Location: Columbus, Ohio.
Duration: 6-9 month contract
*
*Rate: $65/hr.*

Position will work with existing client software architecture staff on a
series of Java EE modernization efforts. The goal of the effort is to move
existing J2EE 1.4 applications to Java EE 5, including moving from Hibernate
and entity-bean based persistence to Java Persistence API (JPA). Participate
in all facets of the project including prototype development,
performance/load testing, technology evaluation and selection and
documentation.

They need substantial JEE5 experience. The more the better, but it needs to
be more than academic exposure.

These resources will likely be more involved with moving from Hibernate to
JPA than from EJB to JPA… so a plus would be experience translating between
Hibernate’s Criteria API and the JPA Criteria API… if they have experience
moving from EJB to JPA that would be good too, but it’s probably not a lot
of what we’re planning to use them on.

Key Skills/Attributes
Strong Java EE Development Skills including hands-on experience with EJB 2.1
- 3.1.
Hands on experience with JPA 2 (Java Persistence API) and Hibernate 3.
Experience with Oracle and SQL.
Hands on experience with WebSphere (6.1, 7.0).
Prior experience conducting a technology evaluation/selection.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Background in technology leadership/architecture. Comfortable working on
coding and non-coding (e.g. documentation) tasks.

Best Regards,
Eric Hoffman | Technical Recruiter
