*SAP Basis - Security Consultant*
- Ability to play the role of a technical lead on projects (technical
upgrades/Implementations etc.,)
- Ability to maintain high degree of knowledge/understanding variety of
SAP Technologies and application of the same
- Install, upgrade and patch SAP ERP suite and related systems.
- Perform monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting,
- Perform system refresh, client copy, client export/import and new
client setup.
- Perform daily health check which includes checking backup status,
system logs and database logs for any issues.
- Assist with data loads and mass data updates
- Plan, recommend and monitor SAP administration (Basis) practices and
procedures
- Support a current ERP implementation and coordinate integration points
with non-SAP systems.
- IT BASIS expertise and awareness of other related technical areas such
as development, configuration, and security.
- Work across all phases of the project (Project Prep, Business
Blueprint, Realization, Final Preparation, Go-Live and then into ongoing
Production Support).
- Understanding of SAP ASAP methodology
- Certification in SAP Basis is preferred
- SAP Basis and /or SAP Security – Strong Knowledge and Hands on
experience of Technical Planning , Installations, Upgrades, Maintenance
etc.,
- Technically fluent in Operating System (Windows/Linux), Database
(Oracle/ SQL)
- Server/MaxDB ) administration, Solution Manager, hardware technologies
and benchmarking of the same for SAP Applications
- Ability to work on activities involved in Plan areas ( Sizing, Scoping
, Client/Landscape/Strategy, High Availability/Disaster Recovery Strategy
etc,) and have played the role of aTechnical Architect/Design in
Implementation projects
- Exposure to Pre-sales, Bid Management and or People Management is
preferred.
- Soft Skills
- Proficient in English
- Good project management skills and Exposure to Quality Process
Frameworks
- Proactive in learning and highly self motivated
- Good Team player and Ability to lead a team (distributed) on Projects
- Knowledge of enterprise-level applications and understanding of Global
Delivery model
