*Please respond with Resume, Rate and Phone numbers of the consultant to: pra...@cigniti.com ASAP.* * * *Position : Information Security Analyst( System Admin )* *Location: Charlotte, NC* *Duration: 12+ months contract* *Job Purpose/Description* * * • Good knowledge of file systems and file sharing technologies (CIFS, NFS, etc.) Solid understanding of multiple operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux, etc.) ** • Expertise with SQL queries, report writing, and data analysis. ** • Knowledge of core email technologies and supporting infrastructure (Exchange, SMTP, IronPort, Sophos, etc.) ** • Knowledge of Internet proxy/gateway, intrusion detection, and content filtering technologies (BlueCoat, WebSense, Snort, McAfee Intrushield, etc.) ** • Understanding of current threats and exploits to include experience with threat remediation. ** • Experience with event logging platforms (such as syslog, Splunk, LogLogic, Arcsight) and Data Loss Prevention (e.g. Vontu, Symantec DLP).** *Tasks and Responsibilities:* · Analysis and triage of information security incidents. · Provide evidence to audit, compliance, and other oversight agencies. · Monitor Data Loss Prevention tools to discover and/or prevent policy violations related to confidential data at rest, in motion, and in use. · Oversee investigation and research of information security alerts flagged by our Managed Security Services Provider. · Utilize system event logs and intrusion detection system logs to research security alerts. ** * * *Required Education/Experience:* * * · Bachelor’s degree in computer science or the equivalent combination of education, technical designations and work experience. · 5+ years of experience in IT Security. · Experience with IT Security administration.
