Location: Emeryville CA Duration: Long Term The QA Analyst is responsible for the validation and verification of Native client application (s) on supported CDMA and GSM devices. As a QA Analyst at client, you will have responsibility for the following activities: Technical Responsibilities: · Execution of test cases, entry of problems into the bug database, and follow-up on entered issues to verify fix. · Investigate issues and report in a concise manner on observed behavior. · Ability to use Perforce to check-in submitted client builds. · Provide feedback on Continuous Process Improvement efforts · Test, debug and measure the performance of the implemented features · Review Log information to support testing General Responsibilities: · Stay current with mobile industry developments and relevant technologies · Provide timely and accurate work and progress status via status reports and weekly meetings · Support NOC and Technical Support in the efficient isolation and escalation of issues. · Train peers in area of specialty knowledge. · Ability to work well with extended team (development, deployments, operations, PM, etc.) · Ability to respond quickly to urgent needs · Multitasking · Creative problem solving and diagnosis skills To succeed in this role, you will need to have the following attributes: · Problem solver: Good Problem solving and team working skills along with effective communication skills (Written and Verbal) · Passionate: Passion for building high quality services that will be used by millions of users · Dedication: The client culture rewards those that care deeply about what they do and are not willing to settle for second best.
