Must have good comm. * Must pass a multithreading test and a core java test *so don't waste your time if they are not good with that. *The job is a financial company but they do not have to have financial, they actually also like Telecomm people:* Client provides financial institutions a comprehensive computer architecture system to unify their payments systems. They are currently seeking several Java Developers to work within project teams, implementing robust and efficient code against a design in a timely manner. There is frequent liaison across the business, but specifically with business analysts, the team lead and other developers. Some client interaction is required and the role has visibility across the business and externally. Responsibilities: • Deep understanding of Java and SQL and can produce code that is robust, performs well and is reusable • Develops to standards and understands the impact of changes across the product • Has a solid understanding of payments and seeks to expand that knowledge • Works to deadlines and can escalate issues effectively • Discusses aspects of the design with the architect, team lead and business analysts to check understanding and raise concerns • Writes functional tests to our framework • Provides production support and can resolve issues when required Qualifications • BSc or MSc educated • 4+ years Java and 2+ years JEE, which must be recent • 2+ years Oracle or other RDBMS experience • Multithreading experience • 1+ years XML • Must have experience of Application Servers.
