The position would entail executing and documenting client solutions as well as providing guidance and procedural direction to Technology Planners/Managers within the organization. The position is responsible for all day to day activities as well as projects. Where needed scripting of processes for automation of activities. This individual will also be part of the 24x7 on-call/pager support for the existing UNIX systems. Candidate must possess solid problem solving, analytical, technical, written and oral communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Administration of the UNIX and Linux environments including validating environmental health and providing day-to-day support is a key area of responsibility. This individual will perform day to day operations, projects, planning and execution activities on Sun Solaris, SUSE and Red-Hat Systems. The Special Financial Services business is very dynamic with many un-anticipated changes.
