They will be responsible for designing, authoring, and executing load and performance tests using tools like: Jmeter and NeoLoad, SoapUI and LoadUI, and authoring performance tests from scratch in Java when necessary. They will be working with the project team to define the scope of load and performance testing within the context of each sprint / delivery. They must be able to comprehend user stories to understand task items per story in the context load and performance testing, clearly communicate to relevant parties related to status of testing activities, track testing progress via JIRA / Greenhopper, and ensure proper documentation related to testing deliverables and lessons learned.
