Need help in Fulfillment of urgent need in Redmond WA. Role; Storage Engineer Duration: 12 months Location: Redmond, WA Bill Rate: Market Storage Engineers Key Skills: 1. RAID conceptual & Working Understanding 2. Differentiate & understand RAID Levels 3. Troubleshoot File Servers Primary Responsibilities • Minimum 4 years’ experience in an enterprise storage environment supporting NAS, DAS, NFS, and other SAN technologies connecting to Windows operating systems and MS-SQL server environments. • Must have solid understanding of all RAID levels and uses. • In-depth knowledge of SAN replication technology. • In-depth knowledge of storage in highly virtualized HyperV environments. • Demonstrated advanced level knowledge of the platform, operating systems, and protocols to be supported including Microsoft Windows Active Directory (2008, 2012), DFS, Windows XP and 7 & 8, Cisco, TCP/IP, and general server hardware. • Advanced virtual infrastructure design, implementation and ongoing management including technologies virtual environment & Setup • Knowledge of Active Directory, management and maintenance. • Active Directory Group Policy Management of servers and endpoints. • Scripting and automation to improve operations productivity and lower cost of operations. (VB, Powershell, Batch File) . • Experience with high availability architectures, clustering, replication design, installation and management. • Working with diverse co-located Data Center environment. • Demonstrated English language communication skills required to collaborate with technical team, management, and business stakeholders. Ability to build positive working relationships and influence collaboratively across IT teams. • Ability to restore service rapidly, using logical troubleshooting methodologies and tools. • Proven analytical and creative problem solving skills. • Highly self-motivated and directed, with attention to detail. • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with confidence in a high pressure environment. • Knowledge of best practices for maintaining network and storage security. • Ability to follow established change management procedures. • Ability to work with Project Managers and facilitate project requests. • Ability to use Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint tools to help organize work and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
