*Position Type: Full-time/Contract* *Background: * We require Oracle Retail Data modeler to participate in all aspects of requirements, data modeling, data architecture design and development applying appropriate architectural and methodology techniques. The role of the Senior Data Modeler is to participate in requirements gathering and come up with both logical and physical data models for Staging, ODS, EDW and Data Marts based on the requirements. *Job Description:* • Participation in requirements gathering and analysis of requirements • Validation of business rules • Source system analysis and identification of potential data quality issues • Come up with enterprise data models including data model for Staging, ODS, EDW and Data Marts • Has in-depth knowledge in Retail Data Modeling • Experience in Oracle Retail Data Model • Should consider the database and tools used in the project to come up with the physical data models • Performance aspects needs to be considered during data modeling • Provide solution architecture guidance and technical support during implementation phase of the project • Interaction with multiple teams who would be using the data model • Should be capable of analyzing existing data models and come up with the potential issues with the model • Identifies and solves process challenges through simulation of scenarios, analysis of performance metrics and advanced optimization techniques. *Qualification:* • Must have min 10 years of IT Experience • 10+ years of experience in DW/BI Projects • 5+ years of experience in retail data modeling for DW/BI Projects • Should have experience in at least 2 to 3 end to end DW/BI Project implementation experience • Should have experience in at least 2 Oracle Retail data modeling assignments • Experience in more than one database servers, ETL tools and BI Reporting tools. • Expertise in using Erwin or similar tools • Physical data modeling experience is also mandatory • Strong in SQL and PL/SQL • Exceptional communication and presentation skills *Thanks/Regards,* Nagesh Gona [image: XpertTech] 400 W Cummings Park Suite#2850 Woburn, MA-01801 Email: nag...@xperttech.com Phone: 781-898-2018 Fax: 978-405-5040 www.xperttech.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
