Amazon AWS. c. Develop and maintain Puppet configurations.*



*2. Must be a US permanent resident / citizen. *1. Plan, configure, install
and maintain Teradata application environments across a variety of
platforms and operating systems - OpenStack, VMWare, Amazon AWS, CentOS,
RHEL, SUSE, Windows
2. Oversee troubleshooting of application, environment and infrastructure
issues and provide timely resolutions to business and internal customers
for supported platforms
3. Maintain all QA servers - includes in-house customer environments using
WAS/Tomcat, Win2008/AIX/Linux and Teradata databases
4. Develop and implement configuration tests and deployment strategies
5. Running certification tests on new configurations using Automation
6. Software release packaging
7. Running new installations and upgrades of Teradata software
8. Implementing and using Single Sign On
9. Develop and maintain Puppet configurations
10. MySQL maintenance and support for OpenStack and centralized logging
11. Nagios planning, plugin development, implementation and support
12. Managing Amazon AWS using EC2 and VPC via the AWS Console
13. Platform and application security
14. YUM RPM and Repo creation for custom installation packaging
15. Detailed documentation for department and organizational uses
16. Work closely with Engineering and QA team to ensure proper QA and
development environments for product development
17. Work with Engineering to define and implement a world-class software
configuration management system
18. Concisely and effectively communicate progress, status and issues to
management
