Job Description: General Function: The API Developer is responsible for working with business units to build, customize and maintain back-end services and APIs. We are looking for a talented developer to work on our next generation API management tool. Ideal candidate will understand how to build a large infrastructure that will scale with our rapid growth and has mastered the challenges of handling large amounts of data, organizing them for fast retrieval and distributing computing load. Developer will work with distributed teams, including multi-state and multi country teams. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The API Developer position will ensure the success of our customers by: • Lead the design, development, and testing of APIs ensuring they are highly scalable, available and reliable. • Work with product managers using agile methodologies to deliver high quality technologies on time,Experience with PHP. • Work with operations, support and sales to ensure customers are successful with developing and deploying their mission critical applications using the technologies you develop. • Be a trusted technical advisor to senior management and help set API management strategy for the organization • Position will be API management and proxy focused.
