Sabrix Business Analyst Sabrix Business Analyst Location: Dallas, TX Rate: 55/hour Description: JD: The Sabrix Business Analyst undertakes the analysis of user and business requirements, with particular regard to their impact on existing systems and environments. The Business Analyst will produce an appropriate business and/or system design, and assist in the construction and implementation aspects of delivery. The Business Analyst will demonstrate full competency in area of expertise & be able to share this expertise with others, provide guidance and support. The Business Analyst will complete tasks/role independently or with minimum supervision/guidance in a diverse environment. The Business Analyst will also have a deep understanding of internal and external business issues and best practice in specific discipline and be able to apply it to the specific role to monitor and control costs in work horizon. - Experience with energy and application development - Experience with full project delivery life cycles - Experience with delivering client value & service excellence - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Excellent analytical & problem solving skills - Experience interpreting client needs; assessing full requirements and identifying solutions to non standard task queries - Successful teamwork experience with proven leadership/coaching of others - Experience identifying key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data and coming up with new less obvious solutions to problems - Experience prioritizing and managing own time to meet agreed to targets; develop plans for specific work activities over the short term (including forecasting & resource requirement) - Experience explaining difficult issues clearly and establishing consensus and agreement - Experience creating information networks with key contacts in area of expertise - Ability to quickly adapt to organization changes - Ability to produce quality documentation for all phases of a project - Ability to interact with multiple teams and personalities to complete project deliverables. Sabrix Experience needed: Experience with data analysis and SQL query writing for SQL server/Oracle databases is required Good understanding of relational data models and ability to work with developers to design interfaces Experience with Sabrix or similar tax calculation software applications is preferred Experience with a corporate supply chain business process is preferred Ability to interface with internal team members and business users to define reports, deliverables, issues, questions, and timelines Education/Certification/Technical Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 10+ years experience documenting business processes or analyzing system or business processes, including one year of project management experience.
