Primary Objective: Gathering Requirement, Design, development using Microsoft Development Tools (SQL Server, MS Access). Require Strong knowledge in SQL Server. The candidate should need to ramp-up within short period of time. Major Functions: - Works closely with the business function owners to understand and validate functional requirements. - Defines, documents and maintains the detailed technical specifications for the specific requested business requirements and functionality - Develop, test & maintain programs for various business applications and complex functions. - Prepares comprehensive and thorough documentation of the developed code. - Executes unit testing to ensure the newly developed program performs as requested. - Works with the functional users in the business to support integration and user acceptance testing and executes related bug fixing. - Works in a team environment across IS functions and disciplines to restore production operations quickly and identify root cause solutions. - Performs job controls & background job scheduling - Maintains effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners and project consultants. - Performs related duties as assigned. Knowledge & experience: - Degree in computer information systems, management information systems, computer science, or computer engineering. - Total 7 -10 Years' experience. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in SQL Server, MS Access and other MS application on Microsoft Windows platform preferred - Self-motivated, results oriented, creative and strong sense of accountability - Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to efficiently implement business strategies - Desire to work in a fast-paced environment - In-depth experience relational databases and SQL for implementing database driven based applications - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies - Strong organizational and prioritization skills Required Skills: - MS SQL Server 2005/2008 - Microsoft Visual Studio /2008/2010 - Microsoft Access , Visual Basic - SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS), DTS - LINQ / Entity Framework - T-SQL & Stored Procedures Thanks & Regards, Prasad Mamidela | Technical Recruiter | Cigniti Inc.
