Job Title: Sr. Java programmer Location: Smithfield, RI
Duration: 3+ months (with financial system experience) *Main duties and responsibilities:* As part of the development team you will own quickly ramping up the Phase1 deliverable of the project and understand Phase 2 functional requirements, create technical design documents, develop high quality software code, and test. You will be accountable for managing your tasks according to the plan. You will be expected to participate in code reviews, design sessions, and team collaboration. *Requirements*: · Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. · At least 6+ years of experience in solution design, architectural analysis and development of financial system (trading/risk/compliance system or related) · At least 3 years of development experience especially using Spring framework (MVC, CORE, IOC) , SOAP web service, Java, J2EE, Struts - Experience working with one or more Web and/or Application Server like Tomcat, Websphere, Weblogic · End-to-end experience in agile software development lifecycle.
