*Summary:*
The UI Business Analyst will create engaging and meaningful interactive
experiences for our customers. The UI Business Analyst is responsible for
the development of design ideas in the project from basic concepts through
fully worked out design solutions. The UI Business Analyst will be
responsible for delivering concepts, wireframes, user scenarios,
prototypes, graphics, and interaction design specifications. The UI
Business Analyst will work closely with market researchers, product
management, business analysts, developers, and testers committed to
developing innovative, easy-to-use, next generation experiences for our
users.

*Essential Functions and Responsibilities:*
*Analytical & conceptual skills:*
Bring strong creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills to translate
ambiguous conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into concrete
interaction and design solutions.
Assess data from multiple sources (product requirements, tech constraints,
UX research and market research) and synthesize it in order to develop
effective design solutions.
*Visual design skills:*
Develop and use appropriate visualization skills (sketching, prototyping
and specification) to define and communicate product and interaction
concepts.
Create effective and appropriate graphics by understanding the meaning and
effect of these on the brand and customer.
*Functional design skills:*
Apply and define interface and interaction principles. Define and develop
general usability principles.
Understand technology capabilities, development tools and methods (e.g.
WPF, Silverlight, HTML5 and Agile). Be aware of the latest technology
trends.
Create workflows and functional designs for application screens (wireframes
and prototypes).
Help define UX performance metrics (error rate, average number of clicks,
perceived easiness, etc.) for project team.
Perform heuristic reviews.
*Communicating & influencing skills:*
Use appropriate and effective communicating & influencing skills to build
relationships with teams and key decision makers and achieve the best
solutions.
Effectively present UX deliverables (wireframes, workflows, prototypes,
etc.) to explain and negotiate design solutions to key stakeholders.

*Requirements:*
5+ years’ experience in UI (User Interface)
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Evidence of successful teamwork both in a project lifecycle and in an agile
environment.
Proven track record delivering high quality work while hitting commitments
and timeframes based on product and business requirements
Ability to successfully execute on, and load balance across, multiple
projects and tasks simultaneously
Ability to effectively negotiate conflict and persuade others on the merits
of a design solution.
Ability to assess, prioritize and make trade-offs against business,
technical and user constraints. Collaborative approach that brings good
resolution decisions to tough design questions and issues.
Strategic thinking while executing with great attention to detail.
A good understanding of development processes.
Strong aesthetic and visual sensitivity.
Proficient in some of these tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Visio,
Omnigraffle, Axure.
Broad UX/IA portfolio of work which highlights successful projects.
