Will have responsibility with design, implementation and some project management of small teams. The ideal candidate for this position will need to have a broad knowledge of supporting application on *O/S platforms, and play * *an integral part in the day-to-day operations.* *Skills needed to perform this role:* 1. Experience with *Windows 2003/2008; Linux O/S as Engineer/Administrator in a production environment.* 2. Experience supporting *Genesys applications or comparable contact telephony application.* 3. Experience with *SQL query and Oracle Database.* 4. Experience supporting any web based applications servers such as *Tomcat, WebSphere, IIS, .Net Framework.* *Duties:* Provide support for new applications and upgrade, patch existing O/S systems Provide solutions to technical problems and implementation of new systems or infrastructure changes Troubleshoot applications running on O/S servers and identify how to resolve utilizing standard O/S tools. Perform system monitoring using SCOM or any relevant tools. Conduct analysis, and performance tuning. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
