*Job Title: Network EngineerLocation: Carlstadt, NJJob Type: ContractDuration: 12 monthsInterview: In person only - Must be in the NY-NJ area (NO SKYPE)* *Role:* The primary responsibility of this individual is to work as a Cisco routing, switching, wireless engineer/analyst. 30% of the role will be supporting core network environment and 70% will be spent supporting network edge equipment that is being rolled out to their remote stores. This person will be responsible for carrying out installation and maintenance of network software and hardware; including routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, firewall/VPN devices, monitoring and management systems and end user equipment. Will develop and maintain detailed network installation and configuration documentation. *Job Requirements & Responsibilities:* Implement and maintain network infrastructure Provide third level network engineering support Escalate to third party support, ensure vendor compliance to service level agreements Research, recommend, test and implement network and security equipment Monitor system (network-centric) performance Requirements: 1-3 years’ experience Strong technical and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of Cisco 2811 and 2901 routers, Cisco 2960 switches is a huge plus.
