*Healthcare QA* *Quincy, MA* *Contract position until 06/15* *Face to face after telephonic* *MEP QA Support/Tester * The MEP QA Support/Tester will be primarily responsible for supporting User Acceptance Testing/Users Doing Testing (UAT/UDT) execution and defect management. MEP QA Support/Tester will support approximately 8-12 subject matter experts during testing to document the issues they encountered in the defect management tool ALM. *The role includes working with QA Test Manager, Business Stakeholders and subject matter experts, Information Technology PMO and technology team to:* Provide on-site support for MH SMEs during testing. Document issues encountered by SMEs during testing by taking print screens, documenting steps to recreate issue. Work with SMEs identifying criticality and severity of the issue. Replicate issues before entering into ALM Enter issues in ALM in a timely basis. Ensure all required fields and process is followed. Support SMEs to understand federal test data and identify which data set will meet their scenario need Provide feedback to SMEs on expected behavior of application, suggest additional test cases to SMEs based on functionality being tested Support QA test manager on talking counts for daily report Participate in triage meetings when needed Support in testing scenarios when time permits *Key Qualifications* Excellent Excel skills Ability to multi-task Ability to comprehensively understand data elements, sources and relationships Self-motivated individual able to function effectively when working independently or in a team Excellent communication, writing and comprehension skills Ability to operate in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* On-Site support for SMEs in User Testing activities Collect and enter all issues/defects reported by SME testing team in a timely manner with accurate and detailed reproducibility steps along with frequency of problem and all supporting comments and documentation. Provide daily counts of issues encountered by SMEs with severity and criticality. Work as a liaison between QA Testing team and the Defect Triage / Review Coordinator. Provide additional information to system integrator vendor when they have questions about an issue. Understanding of Bug tracking process. Coordinate support work with Management to provide additional research and debugging of issues needed to resolve outstanding high priority problems. Test application as time permits *Education* BS Degree in Business Administration, or Computer Science preferred 5-10 years' experience QA test management experience Knowledge of Client Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Knowledge of Medicaid systems, the Health Information Exchange (HIE) and Health Insurance Exchange (HIX) programs, and medical claims management systems are desired.
