This consultant will assist with a Hadoop Cluster Implementation, Documenting a cook book as well as key Procedures. This position will be responsible for performing critical system administration duties to ensure operating system and system software is configured and maintained to provide the levels of system availability and integrity specified by the business requirements. The Hadoop Implementation Consultant is responsible for monitoring system security parameters and managing user accounts to ensure adherence to established policy. Capacity planning and system performance and tuning is a key aspect of this position to ensure the service levels are consistently met. Additionally, provides analysis, evaluation, and support of the environment operation which includes monitoring systems, resources, applications, and users to ensure maximum system availability. Experience implementing and supporting Hadoop is required.
