*SAS MACRO PROGRAMMER *

*QUINCY, MA*

*6+ months contract*

The SAS Programmer will work with MassHealth and related stakeholders to
develop automated macros to simply and efficiently provide standard data
from the Data Warehouse. Candidate must be comfortable working in teams and
synthesizing various, and potentially competing, requirements in order to
produce solutions that will meet a variety of user needs.

*Duties*
o Works across departments to develop guidelines and specifications
o Prepares detailed specifications from which code will be written
o Documents work in clear and transparent fashion
o Develops automated processes for standard clinical measures
o Create, Validate, and Maintain SAS Macro procedures

*Qualifications*
o Knowledge of SAS
o Experience working with large datasets
o Proficient in Oracle SQL
o 2+ years of experience with SAS Programming in a healthcare environment
o Knowledge of statistical theory and its application to the healthcare
field
o SAS Macro Expertise
o Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred.

*Preferred Qualifications*
o Experience with Medicaid Claims and Encounter data preferred
o Prior experience with Macro development
o SAS Certification
