This position is for the Systems Operations Level III team. Under general
guidance, performs activities related to system administration such as OS
configuration, IIS web site setup, configuration and maintenance, rights
assignments, storage management, and system patching on Windows systems.
Additionally, configures, maintains and uses the supplied systems and
software to ensure patch levels, apply global configuration changes, push
out new application code, and monitor continued system health. The Level
III team will accept escalations from the Level I and Level II teams

*Education/Experience*
o Associate degree in computer related field required. Bachelor degree in
computer science preferred.
o 8-10 years experience required
o 5+ years of server operating system experience
o 5+years experience with Operating System technologies MS and/or
Linux/Unix
o 5+years experience with Account and rights assignment
o 5+years experience managing server networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS,
firewalls, etc.)
o 3+years experience deploying and supporting enterprise applications in
IIS
o 3+years experience handling production issues
o 3+years experience managing systems and applications in a virtualized
environment (VMWare, Hyper-V, Terminal Services, Citrix)
o 2+years experience managing clustered systems
o 2+years experience managing systems using network-based storage solutions
(SAN and NAS)
o 2+years experience creating scripts (bash, perl, vbscript or Powershell)
in a professional environment – a plus
o Demonstrated ability to draft and formalize technical documentation
o Knowledgeable about server hardware and operating system monitoring
o Proven ability to efficiently diagnose an issue, propose and implement a
solution
o Flexible and adaptable with excellent verbal and written communication
skills
o Airline business systems knowledge - a plus

*Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:*
o Responsible for supporting complex systems and application solutions
o Maintain and configure infrastructure tools to monitor and manage the
environment
o Accept escalation of technical problems from other teams
o Identify and implement improvements to the process, procedures,
documentation, and systems
o Other duties as assigned
o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor
