*Job Title : Build Engineer with ALM / Jama ExperienceLocation : Englewood, CODuration : 6+ month contract* The individuals should have ability to Architect, Build, and support the above tools. Would be difficult to find an individuals with ALL skills, But need to have Jira and at least 1 of the others (either Jama or HP ALM). The Key is strong configuration and support of these tools, as well as being able to understand them from an architectural/design/configuration standpoint. Therefore, it could be a QA person, software developer, Build Engineer, deployment engineer or configuration analyst that is an expert in these tools. Create and administer JIRA Change / Deployment Workflow. Administration and training of JIRA for project users. Create and chair a Configuration Control Board Meeting to approve all deployments to the environments. Development of HP ALM/SDLC process documents and train project users. Audit and review all build / deployment documents for process compliance. Perform Status Accounting / Metrics for all deployments, Bug Tracking and process improvements. Also, keep in mind HP ALM used to be call HP Quality Center. ALM is the next gen product/latest version of Quality Center. Again, not being a user, but helping to configure to the SDLC process environment. Provide technical leadership for the administration, rollout and selection of corporate level supported tools across multiple technical service units (TSUs). Supports tool initiatives and processes across TSUs and performs Tier 3 support for the TSUs. Provides leadership in the selection, development, implementation, adoption and maintenance of software engineering tools and the performance of tool implementations. Supports the development of efficient tool strategies and tool integrations for client global locations. Applies extensive job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts. Has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Recognized as a job expert within the department/organization. Provides technical solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and creativity. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Completed work is reviewed for desired results from a relatively long-term perspective. Guides the successful completion of aspects of major programs and may function in a project leadership role. Erroneous decisions or recommendations may result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives. Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
