*Manual QA Engineer Salt Lake City, UT10 Months Contract Only Locals - F2F interview* This Is a manual black box functional QA person to test the monthly release cycle. The application they support is java front end and some windows (client) and linux (server) on the back end. There are 3 on the team and this consultant will needed for a 10 month role. *Description:* 2 years of QA Knowledge of Unix/Windows NT, PC Networking Intermediate knowledge of software testing Bachelors degree preferred but will take more experience Develops and executes test plans and test cases for functional and design specifications Assists with guidance for both QA staff and other departments, provides high level customer assistance when needed. Assist QA Lead Engineer as liaison between QA project team and outside contractors as well as internal areas that relate to the QA testing cycle and product development life cycle. Enter, review, and update software defects in defect tracking database.
