*Position: Sr. Salesforce Developer* *Location: Mclean, VA* *Duration – 12 Months+* *Please send me only genuine consultants* *Responsibilities:* Candidate must have a proven background Salesforce.com development, including Apex, workflow and Visual Force Should be able to develop and configure Visualforce, AppExchanges, Force.com and integrate into 3rd party solutions. 3rd Party Application Integration experience is required Design/ implement database enhancements including; custom objects, custom fields, custom formulas, validation rules, approval processes,record types and custom workflows Ability to design, code, test, debug, package and deploy quality, scalable and well documented solutions on the Salesforce platform. Experience working on full Salesforce life cycleimplementation Maintain a holistic view of all business processes of different teams and users in the system to understand cross functional impacts of new custom development with regard toconfiguration, process, workflow and reporting Successfully document / maintain documentation on application code, application use and flow Strong understanding of relational databases with ability to do data modelling to meetthe business needs Candidates with Salesforce.com developer certification preferred Candidate will also help with Salesforce Administration task sas needed Maintain security settings, access settings etc. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security) Perform data integrity and manipulation tasks such as merging duplicate records and establishing proper ownership of existing accounts and contacts inaccordance with salesterritories using data loader Design complex dashboards Research changes in upcoming versions of salesforce.com and other integrated applications; provide recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency andproductivity Manage special projects as assigned Successfully manage multiple concurrent projects Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong work ethic *Education & Experience:* Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Hands on, 3-5year’s experience with APEX and Visual Force development Use of Salesforce APIs (via java, etc.) to integrate Salesforce with other tools. Experience withForce.com migration tool desired. 3+ years ofexperience with technical implementation, day-to-day operations, and longtermmaintenance of Salesforce. Must be comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations. Ability to work independently and engage supervisor as needed.
