Data Modeler Location: NYC Duration: 6-12 months. Need 2 references Job Description: looking for a Senior Data Modeler who has responsibility for the design and development of the ETL, data warehouse and metadata logical data models. The Senior Data Modeler will facilitate data modeling sessions with subject matter experts to develop the logical data models. Responsibilities: • Create entity attributes and definitions; • Create entity relationship diagrams; • Create logical data models; • Identify natural business keys, foreign keys and alternate keys; • Identify and define slowly changing dimensions; • Third normal and dimensional modeling; and • Data mapping Mandatory Skills: • Requirements gathering; • Data modeling; • Development and elicitation of data standards • Third normal and dimensional modeling; and • Communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
