*Position: Service Engineer - Report Builder* *Location: Redmond, WA*
*Duration: 6 - 12 Months plus* *Key Responsibilities: * Develop automated real-time reports to improve project status visibility Maintain and administer current SQL databases and SQL Analysis Services cubes Manage the TFS history store and data warehouse Create and configure new reporting cubes for analytics Support financial reporting requirements Develop telemetry models and infrastructure across the product team Develop engaging and useful user experiences Respond to and provide support to customer inquiries Perform application debugging and problem isolation Perform service feature design reviews Build systems management automation and tooling capabilities Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in accordance with high level objectives and roadmaps *Qualifications include: * 5+ years of relevant industry experience 2+ years of developing .net applications 2+ years developing web based applications Working knowledge of SQL, SSIS, SSRS, PowerPivot, PowerBI Strong focus on solving problems as a team with equally strong IC Skills Known as someone who can “solve tough technical challenges fast” Proven track record of developing targeted, simple, scalable and sustainable applications Capability to guide others on best software development practices Knowledge on good modern architectural design patterns including Cloud and Mobile Desire to work in an iterative Agile environment Resourcefulness to drive issue resolution Performs well under ambiguity and pressure Self-driven and self-sufficient delivery skills Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed *Technical experience: * Hands on experience across the Microsoft technology stack SharePoint applications - web parts and apps TFS customizations, including custom controls, extensions and add-ins REST (Experience building REST services including ADFS/AAD Auth.)
