*Sr. Cognos Developer* *Woodland, TX* *6 M+* *In person interview is mandatory* *Required competencies - knowledge, skills and abilities* • Designing and developing complex reports in Cognos 10.2.x or Cognos 10 Report Studio, including executive dashboards. • Designing and developing metadata models in Framework Manager that abides by industry best practices. • Designing and developing Transformer OLAP cubes. • Knowledge of Cognos BI SDK for building Web Services and Integrations with 3rd party applications (Mobile Apps). • Ability to build Cognos Mobile/Active Reports. • Ability to build reports based on MDX Sources like TM1, Transformer Cubes, SSAS Cubes, etc. • History of successful enterprise level implementations of Cognos applications. • Ability to identify critical application integration issues and recommend solutions. • Ability to provide technical recommendations for performance issues including: application integration optimization, platform hardware analysis, architecture optimization techniques and performance troubleshooting techniques. • Deliver stable, tested, customer-ready solutions which exceed client expectations. • Ability to administer and manage Cognos BI Services with 99.9 uptime. • Experience with MS SQL Server database, including planning, sizing, deployment, development, configuration and optimization. *Experience:* · *8+ years of experience in IT with data warehousing or business intelligence applications.* · 3+ years of experience with Cognos Business Intelligence (C8/C10), including all Studios, Framework Manager, Transformer and administration. *· Experience developing Cognos Planning Applications is also desirable (TM1 & Contributor).* *Education:* · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
