Communication here is VERY important. *Top Skills:* -Oracle SQL/PLSQL Experience- design and performance tuning (Versions 10/11/12- they are currently on version 11g and they are moving to 12c) -Agile Experience -Systems Integration Experience -Familiarity with Web Services/Java *Plus: Informatica NDM experience * *Job description: *Design and develop Oracle database solutions in an Informatica MDM context. Write complex code and solve complex technical problems. Conduct analysis and provide recommendations on the utilization of emerging and existing technologies. Perform engineering cost/benefit analyses to determine optimal, high performance solutions. Determine feasibility of customer requirements and design solutions. Build new high level designs as required. Communicate with team members and vendors to improve system performance. Participate in the development and evolution of architecture. Recommend technical strategy, direction and design/coding standards. *Job requirements:* Must hold a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Also required is 5 years’ experience designing, developing, tuning and managing Oracle 10/11/12 databases, especially hands on pl/sql coding. Also required is experience performing requirements elaboration, analysis, data modeling and release planning. Experience working with Oracle databases that support Informatica/Siperian MDM (or other MDMs) is highly desired. *Other Qualifications, in rough priority order:* * Knowledge of database related standards, design patterns and best practices – including designing in high performance, set based solutions, effective use of parallelism and maintainability. * Advanced Oracle SQL skills including a working knowledge of DML, Analytic Functions, Set Operators, Hierarchical Query, Regular Expressions, etc. * Advanced PL/SQL skills including a working knowledge of BULK operations, collections, Pipelined functions, Native Dynamic SQL, etc. * Ability to code set based (as opposed to just row by row) solutions * Experience with ETL and E-LT design patterns and practices within Oracle. * Experience constructing Oracle External table definitions against multiple formats of flat file data. * Experience with Oracle XMLDB with emphasis on XMLTYPE, XMLTABLES, XQUERY, XML Schema registration and SQLX. * Familiarity with Informatica MDM Hub * Knowledge of processes and methodologies related to data modeling, data quality, data cleansing and data validation. * Good understanding of full suite of Oracle Database monitoring and tuning related facilities including OEM, AWR, ADDM, ASH, OWI, Statspack, etc. * Good understanding of Oracle internals related to query optimization, statistics, plan operations, plan management, etc. * Familiarity with source code management for database objects. * Experience with Oracle Partitioning and newer features found in Oracle 11g and 12c * Thorough understanding of Referential Integrity, related constraint options and implementation best practices * Familiarity with Web Services development. * Familiarity with Java/JDBC and other clients from a database perspective. Ability to read Java and provide re-factoring suggestions to optimize database interactions. * Oracle Applications DBA experience with emphasis on Performance and Tuning. * Knowledge of XML and XML related technologies including XML Schema, XSLT and XPath. * Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic Server.
