The primary responsibility of this individual will be to participate in the
technology development of the CRM application. They will be responsible for
the technical architecture of subject matter experts (cross functional
across Business Units, marketing, finance, KM etc) to support business a
CRM application. align with business counterparts to evaluate and select a
product solution. Will work closely with project Business Analysts and
process processes with integrated tech solutions. The CRM technical
architect will be responsible for defining, analyzing, designing,
constructing, testing and implementing technology applications. Evaluating
commercial applications to determine alignment with internal architectures,
business requirements, and architectures. Establishing and maintaining
excellent working relationships with business groups and IT teams,
transforming current and future information services technology into
state-of-the-art systems. 6+ years experience in leading technology
initiatives
4+ experience with Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
4+ years experience in the implementation and support of a CRM enterprise
application solution Knowledge of Web Services and experience with Object
Oriented methods. Experience building scalable, mission critical
applications. Knowledge of the principles, theories, practices and
techniques for managing the activities associated with implementing
projects. Demonstrated experience with large commercial ERP applications.
Defining and applying standards and measures of quality based on customer
requirements. Defining, designing, constructing, testing, and deploying ERP
integration with various technology solutions, and planning for the
strategic "sunsetting" of legacy systems when appropriate. Excellent
interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with a variety of
senior-level executives, both internal and external to the company.
Negotiation and Conflict resolution skills. Complex problem analysis.
Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BS, BA) or 5 years IT experience.
"1. Key attribute for this candidate MUST BE demonstrated skill in being
able to articulate strategic goals, and decisions made for project
requests, in language understood by technologists when within IT and in
language understood by the business when working with business
stakeholders. Candidates with poor or average communications -- both
written and verbal -- skills will not be considered.
2. Candidate must be a self starter and must possess internal drive and
initiative. A candidate who is waiting for a superior to give him/her a
checklist of tasks to accomplish will not succeed in this role. Instead, an
ideal candidate will have documented evidence of having, articulating and
executing on tactical AND strategic architectural initiatives in his/her
recent background.
3. Candidate should be comfortable working in an agile or scrum project
setting and be willing to be colocated in an office setting with other
project participants as required (including up to 80% office time during
some weeks). 100% virtual candidates cannot be considered at this time.
4. Candidate must immediately be ready to establish working relationships
with his/her project team as well as with the IT Enterprise Architecture
and IT Technology Standards teams. Candidates with poor or average
relationships creation and maintenance skills will not be considered.
5. Candidate must have good to excellent familiarity with architectural
patterns including data aggregation, data integration, layered
architecture, event and process centric design, collaboration as well as
architectural technologies/technology trends including cloud computing,
continuous delivery, continuous integration, automated build and test, and
predictive technologies.
6. Candidate should be familiar and comfortable with creation of white
papers including the appropriate estimation and accommodation of risk to
architectural solutions being proposed.
7. Candidate should be familiar with incumbent IT technologies including
Java, Oracle, SQL Server, SharePoint, BizTalk BUT COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS AND
ABILITY TO SHOW AND EXECUTE ON INITIATIVE WILL BE WEIGHTED MORE HEAVILY IN
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE."
