*Position: QA* *Location: Littleton, CO* *Duration: 6+ months* *Only GC/Citizen there* This role will be responsible for all types of testing including Flow through testing. This role will perform provide estimations for testing activities; provide expert technical direction at a project level, Test Planning for complex systems and equipment. The individual will collaborate with various teams across IT to identify the impacts of test requirements and improve the overall quality of the final deliverables. As a technical expert, this person will possess strong communication skills and will be expected to partner with business and technical groups in order to anticipate the effects of testing and bring timely resolution to critical issues. Within their area of expertise, this person will provide specialized advice and direction. They will contribute towards the team's continual process improvement, and will also provide industry knowledge regarding test strategy development, test R&D activities, and technical support when applicable. This role will perform automation testing and manual testing. Strong automation skills are desired. This role includes working across multiple scrum teams as needed. *SCRUM TEAM MEMBER DESCRIPTION: *The tester will be in charge of providing guidance about data creation, test cases/acceptance test design, test execution, framework design/improvements, scripting tasks, setup environments, etc. Be part of the planning meeting for the next sprint. The tester needs to validate whether he will create any complex environments, or any major improvements for the automation framework, before starting the next sprint. Testers create acceptance criteria for the user stories for the next sprint, helping the POs (if the team includes POs) by giving suggestions from a QA perspective regarding standards, user experience, possible performance issues, and future bugs. Update acceptance criteria according to PO comments and create test cases for the next sprint. Automate test cases for any of the various phases of testing. Execute acceptance criteria manually or through automation. Perform exploratory testing. Be part of the retrospective meeting for the current sprint.
