Skills Requirements:

Expert in development *of Business Intelligence* Data Warehousing Modeling
include Data Analysis.
Expert in developing and maintaining OLTP, data warehouses and operational
data stores and utilize ERwin data modeling tools for logical and physical
data models.
Responsible for detail Data analysis and translates Business requirements
into logical data models.
Solid understanding of Bill Inmon and Ralph Kimball Methodologies.
Derives data designs and identifies opportunities to re-engineer data
structures, and recommends efficiencies as it relates to data storage and
retrieval.
Responsibilities include translating business requirements into data
designs.
Responsibilities include translating and documenting Source to Target
Mapping for the ETL team.
Advanced SQL Coding/Tuning Experience.
Working knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle, leadership
skills and the ability to work well with both business clients, developers
and other architects.
Ability to participate as a senior Data Analyst gathering of source
systems, processing logic, content and operational system usage.
Bridges gaps across business areas, operational business units,
infrastructure team, and Data Warehouse development teams.
Works on multiple large complex projects with cross functional teams and
business.
Develops technical architecture, data model, and documentation of all
projects.
Enforces data and technical solutions, standards, and governance.
Generates documentation for the program or project and other technical
deliverables.
Stays current in new technologies as well as new opportunities to develop
knowledge and staff.
Excellent communication (written and verbal). Full life cycle experience in
Enterprise Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, Data Integration, and Master
Data Management.
Excellent understanding of solutions architectural principles, data
integration, and data warehousing.
Desired Skills
Analyze database changes requested by the Agile development teams for
impacts to interfacing systems, Naming Standards, Design standards, Data
Conversions and update corresponding documentation.
Experience developing databases with an Agile development process and
ceremonies including scrums, planning events, backlog grooming,
retrospectives and demos.
Experience with Data Conversion Strategies on various databases
(PostgreSQL, Oracle, GREENPLUM)
Experience with Database partitioning Strategies on various databases
(PostgreSQL, Oracle, GREENPLUM)
Experience with Modern Development Environments and Continuous Integration
Process.
Strong customer interface skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills necessary to work effectively
with customers and other team members.
Experience in capturing and presenting all levels of Enterprise Metadata
