This is my direct client opening for a *CNC Programming Consultant - San Diego, CA*. This is a long Term Contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. Our portfolio company is in need of resources that can determine the sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications and work orders. *Consultants with expertise within CNC Programming should have the following qualifications: * Experience with MasterCam 9 and 10 and multi (5 and 6) axis. Ideally program experience with Mitsui and Mori Seki mills and Mori Seki CNC laths Experience producing close tolerances (±.0001) and fine surface finishes Proficient with Fanuc & Mori Seiki Controllers and Multi-axis millturn machines, such as 2T series lathes Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and equipment, measurement devices, shop mathematics, basic materials and processes used in machining / manufacturing Skilled in reading and accurately interpreting/understanding blueprints, work instructions, and product specifications Experience cutting hard metals such as Inconel, stainless steel, titanium, alloy 188, hastelalloy, is a plus Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a plus A minimum of three years of relevant work experience in designated field *Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume. * Full Name: Degree Major: Total CNC Programming experience: Total Experience with MasterCam 9 and 10 and multi (5 and 6) axis: Total experience with Mitsui and Mori Seki mills and Mori Seki CNC laths: Total Experience producing close tolerances (±.0001) and fine surface finishes: Are you Proficient with Fanuc & Mori Seiki Controllers and Multi-axis millturn machines, such as 2T series lathes?
