Client is looking for *Senior HR Business Systems Analyst - ERP HR
Implementation - Chicago -Downtown. *This is a 3+ months Contract position.
The Hourly rate is DOE. Locals are highly preferable.

*Job Responsibilities:*
The Senior HR/BA will support the implementation of the ERP system. The
client is replacing their Financial/Accounting systems and will need to do a
complete analysis of the HR environment. The client would prefer a
consultant who has experience implementing PeopleSoft and/or Oracle HR.
Ideally, the Senior HR/BA will have previous experience inside a company as
an HR generalist. The Senior HR/BA should also be able to articulate an ESS
(Employee Self Service) proposition and have a strong understanding of MSS
(Manager Self Service). The consultant should also have experience working
with partial vended solutions; i.e. Hewitt or ADP.

*The Senior HR/BA will also:*
• Work collaboratively in an ERP implementation team environment.
• If required, elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis,
requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions,
use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile
conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from
low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user
requests from the underlying true needs.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal
customers to analyze HR process, documentation and technology
• Utilize your experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition
and management systems and methodologies required.
• Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of
ERP Lead Architect/Project Manager.

*Professional skills/experience/personality characteristics:*
• Strong analytical and HR skills required, including a thorough
understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them
into operational requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to
interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and
subject matter experts.
• Hands-on practitioner experience.
• Financial industry experience would be a plus; PeopleSoft and/or Oracle HR
implementation experience a must.

*Qualifications:*
• BS in related management discipline
• Five plus years of consulting experience preferred
• Seven plus years of corporate HR experience, preferably with strong HR
Generalist experience.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and quality experience
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Experience working within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based
project environment a must.
