Location: *NYC * Contract Length*: 6 months * Project Manager *(*Pharma* is a plus) * Job description: * * Manages projects and change initiatives through the project life cycle and ensures effective transition of project to sustainable service delivery * Works with clients, client strategy leads, Business & Functional Analysis team, and other stakeholders to develop business justifications, scope of deliverables, RFPs, and explorations of solution options * *Reviews projects when complete against business case to ensure projected benefits are being realized* * Ensures all projects are delivered with a minimum of business disruption * Participates in internal and vendor facing governance forums as appropriate * Works with colleagues and vendors to help scope and plan projects * Engages the Vendor Management team to ensure TM uses appropriate vendors and provides oversight of these vendors across the solution delivery lifecycle * Identifies opportunities to integrate UE efforts in solution delivery lifecycle and engages UE team as appropriate * Works with architects to ensure project solutions comply with *USP standards*, both at a line and application portfolio level * *Establishes project scope, clear decision gates, vendor SOWs*, and entrance/ exit criteria across phases of development * Provides technical project management coaching and development for other team members, based on individual skill portfolios * Creates and maintains all project plans and manages all project activities against these plans * Manages day-to-day performance and deliverables of project team members, both internal as well as external resources * Effectively leads meetings with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, and conducts productive technology project team status/review meetings * Identifies and brings to *resolution project risks and issues*, escalates major project risks to scope or budget or timeline to appropriate escalation points * Provides all aspects of technical project management, including detailed project requirement definition, budgeting, project planning, metrics tracking, and timely deliverables * Plans for the smooth transition of production applications to support and maintenance structures working with the Services Delivery team * Manages to pre-determined business case costs and benefits * Works within project management framework, standards and methodology to ensure consistency in service delivery across USP * Follows agreed, consistent change management methodology ** Supports the definition and implementation of the tools and processes to be used for effective, consistent project management within TM* * Assists in skilling other groups within TM on project management tools and processes * Develops RFPs with support from appropriate TM team members and provides oversight of vendors across the solution delivery lifecycle * Leads *business and functional analysis activities *for projects where a Business & Functional Analyst is not assigned * Provides updates to the Project Management Office for tracking the status of Solutions Delivery projects to the Solutions Delivery Leadership Team * ensuring a single perspective of all projects, key issues and tracking of project progress * Key metrics include *on-time, on-budget, on-quality project delivery*; client satisfaction on a project-to-project basis; user satisfaction and effective staff management (when appropriate) including completion of line responsibilities (e.g. performance management process) and upward feedback Please do let me know the following: Current Location: Availability Date: Visa Status: Expected Rate: Best time and Number to call: Thanks & Regards, Deepthika Reddy.V Sr.Technical Recruiter International Business Software Solutions (IBSS) Inc, 2540 U.S. Highway 130, Suite 101, Cranbury.
