If you are looking for an opportunity like this, please send your resume today! *Job Description:* - The EDI Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, & testing, EDI related interfaces. - Under general direction provides support for EDI systems to include internal end users, internal IT support, trading partners (customers and suppliers) and their technical teams. - Responsible for maintaining EDI transaction activities, system software testing, software upgrades, gathering business requirements and documenting quality processes. *Experience:* - Minimum 5 years programming/development experience - ANSI X12 ( 850, 856, 810, 820, 847 & 997), EDIFACT, XML & cXML - EDI Translation tool user/map exit routines - Oracle Financials - Oracle Supply Chain - Oracle eCommerce Gateway - Data Base (Oracle, DB2, MySQL) - Java - Unix - SQL - PL/SQL *Knowledge/Skills Required:* - Extensive EDI Transaction Mapping - Communications Configuration - EDI interface development experience preferably with WebSphere Partner Gateway tool - Basic understanding of vendor relationships or related skills is required - Must have effective communication skills with groups and at individual level coupled with an ability to solve problems and identify strategies for process resolution. - Must have analytical skills with ability to critically evaluate data from multiple sources. *Please remember that when you submitt a candidate to me you will include there social security number.
