Enterprise Architect

 Job Description:

The ideal candidate will provide strategy and technical recommendations
related to SAP HCM, SAP XI/PI, Enterprise Integration, Single-Sign-On,
Capacity Planning and other key technology architecture for PepsiCo’s HRMS &
Payroll Transformation program.


The role will include identifying opportunities for optimizing PepsiCo SAP
solutions that include ECC, EP, and PI.
The candidate will lead in the development of optimization business cases,
deliver strategies and roadmaps, lead proof of concepts, and ensure
compliance with Enterprise Architecture standards.
In addition, the candidate will play a critical role in ensuing effective
monitoring, error handling, and tuning of the SAP solutions.
The ideal candidate will partner with the SAP development, BASIS, and
Enterprise Application Management organizations.
Candidate will define and maintain architectures and architecture-related
artifacts such as Conceptual/Directional, Logical/Physical Deployment
architectures architecture patterns.
The candidate will deliver Enterprise Application Integration patterns, SAP
and non-SAP sizings, and SAP development standards and best practices,
Enterprise Integration standards and best practices, and ensure end to end
data privacy across the solution.
Candidate will provide technology architecture and blueprint consultation to
My Access and impacted divisional, functional, and CIO application
development teams.



*Skill Sets*

 Position requires individual to maintain currency in the latest trends in
the industry such as SOA, Enterprise Application Integration, SAP
applications, and the SAP NetWeaver stack.
Experience in Enterprise Integration tools and technologies such as TIBCO
EMS/BW, Informatica, and XI/PI is preferred.
Position requires commitment to maintain currency with business initiatives,
challenges, and drivers to ensure solutions support business goals and
objectives.
Position will continue to expand enterprise technology architecture and
blueprint to ensure technology refreshes are long lasting and do not have to
be re-engineered for 3 to 5 years as technology advances.
Client Management: Position requires a technical acumen to provide solutions
that support the needs of the business yet are compliant with the
established enterprise architecture.
Position requires candidate to keep up with the pace of the change within
PepsiCo’s SAP HRMS & Payroll transformation program called release
schedules.
The position will require the candidate to build and maintain relationships
with a wide array of stakeholders including CTO, Development leads,
Directors, and Group Mgrs.
Governance: Position will be engaged in projects and initiatives as dictated
by PBSG Project Lifecycle Management that includes working with the HRMS &
Payroll CTO to review and adjust designs and SAP enhancements.
Position will instill the value of governance in the project teams and steer
major designs and technology decisions for review and approval through the
Enterprise Architecture Governance process.
Reusability: Deliver best practices, guidelines, and patterns as it applies
to technology architecture such as, Integration patterns, Identification of
new Enterprise Services, and reuse opportunities.
Identify patterns, reusability opportunities, and promote it across the
enterprise using the CTO and Enterprise Architecture channels. Leverage
Common Services, provided by Data and GTA Common Services teams.
People Management: Contribute to staffing function and maintaining the
organizational health of a multi-location team within the framework of
current client priorities and initiatives.
