Following is a description of *Urgent Direct Client Requirement : Programming Consultant* Location :* Bartlesville, OK* Duration:* 6 Months* ** *Position Description: * - Programming encompasses the evaluation of user requests and the design, production or acquisition, testing, introduction and activation of software to effectively meet requirements. It also provides subsequent follow-up and customer support. - Develop, maintain, control, audit, analyze and manage a variety of information systems. Formulate and define system scope and objectives, devise strategies, develop or modify procedures, and resolve complex problems and related issues. Instruct, coordinate and check work of other information systems staff and lead projects with moderate to large budgets. *Additional Information* - *Gas Pipeline application *experience is beneficial. - Experience with* real time data acquisition and control systems*. - Experience with *inter-process communications, mutexes and critical sections.* - Experience with relational databases like *SQL Server*. - Use and application of *Scada Systems*. - Experience using one of the following scada systems is necessary: - *Wonderware, Intellution-FIX, ICONICS,CygNet,FactoryLink, RSView,Telvent, or Citect.* - Heavy experience with the *Win32 API.* - *Oil and Gas industry* experience. - *Network and Internet experience*.
