Location - Houston, TX

General Description:
This position is responsible for delivering large-scale, complex Siebel
implementation that combines processes with technology to help business achieve
high performance.
Responsibilities (included but are not limited to the following):
Assist in the technical implementation of Siebel.
Assist in gathering requirements from business.
Assist in the design of modules and functionalities.
Ensure development meets standard practices of the Industry in general
and also of Siebel
Configure Siebel according to requirements, which may include
configuration, UI development, scripting, and integration with other
applications.
Assist in writing test scripts and testing of functionalities.
Ensure application or technical environments meet performance
requirements (technical, functional and user interface).
Assist in research and proto-type development.
Assist in production support.
Assist in SOX Compliance.
Review existing code and suggest improvements.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years Siebel configuration and application design experience
5+ years functional and technical design experience
5+ years experience with Siebel Tools
3+ years experience with Siebel 7.x
Sound verbal and written communication skills
Extensive configuration and application design skills
Knowledge of the length of time it takes to code portions of the Siebel
application based on teams skill sets (i.e someone who could assist in
planning)
Ability to describe how to build technical designs from functional
designs
Good technical grounding with experience of systems delivery functional
and technical design, build and test experience
Ability to describe the Siebel products, both core and vertical offerings
Expert in Siebel Navigation, the Siebel User Interface and Siebel Tools
Expert in Siebel Configuration using; Business Component, Applets, Views,
Joins, Pick lists and MVG/Association Applets
Expert in integration technologies like Integration Objects, VBCs, EBCs,
Workflows, Run Time events, Signals, XML, XSLT, Web Services, Symbolic URLs,
Siebel COM Objects, RCR, etc
Proficient in Siebel eScript
Proficient in PL/SQL
Proficient in Web Services (SOA)
Expert in Siebel's data model and an understanding of a relational
database
Understanding of EAI, EIM and how Siebel interacts with different legacy
systems
Proficient in the additional functionality of the Siebel Application (how
it interacts with Actuate, telephony skills, etc)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Siebel eEnergy
Experience with Siebel 8.0
Experience with SOA
Experience with Siebel Helpdesk
Experience with Siebel's Business Rules engine (HaleyAuthority)
Experience with Siebel Web UI
Experience with eSales
Experience with eService
Experience with eDocs
Experience with SOX Compliance
Proficient in J2EE
Proficient in .Net
Experience with CTI
Experience with Task UI
Experience with Actuate and other reporting solutions
Experience with Analytics
Experience with UCM
