Description: We are looking for an Oracle R12 E-Business Implementation
DBA. This is an urgent replacement and the requirements are:
Oracle R12 E-Business Implementation DBA
Irvine CA; 1 yr contract
Rate - upto $70 TO $75/hr
Required experience:
· This resource should have prior working knowledge of Oracle E-Business
Suite, and able to demonstrate prior working knowledge of working in the
implementation cycle. Preferably, with other vendors such as IBM Global Service.
· This individual should be able to demonstrate multiple years of
experience in large Oracle implementations under Release 11. And should be able
to demonstrate at least 1 R12 implementation knowledge.
· Expressed knowledge of R12 vs. R11 is required as the two products are
different.
· Working knowledge of the E-Business Suite R12 technology stack
including Oracle Application Server for EBS.
· Working knowledge of Unix environments.
· Oracle Metalink and escalation management.
Responsibilities include:
· Installation, patching and cloning of Oracle E-Business Suite
environments and the setup and maintenance of software stack
· DBA management activities of the environment including: Application
Server, database management, concurrent managers and application profile
management.
· RapidInstall, RapidClone, adadmin, opatch, adpatch, etc.
Experience with the following is a plus:
· Backup and recovery (RMAN)
· Oracle Grid Control
· Oracle on AIX 6.1 is a plus
Rate: BEST, Job Type: Contract, Start Date: ASAP, Duration: 1 Yr,
Number Of Openings: 1,
