Job Title: Technical Project Manager Position Type: Full Time Work Authorization: US Citizen / Green Card / EAD / TN Location: Long Island, New York City, NY Salary: Negotiable Job Description Summary: . Technical Project Manager will plan, organize and control all activities associated with the application development of assigned technical projects of varying sizes. They will provide recommendations to senior management regarding type and number of resources (human, financial, tools, etc.) required to complete assigned projects. They will solicit and obtain management authorization for development, quality assurance, and documentation of new products as well as enhancements to existing products. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: . Create project plans using tools that facilitate task listing, upfront project labor, cost estimating, tracking and modification to ensure business requirements are completely satisfied, on time and within budget. . Produce executive reports on assigned projects to keep management apprised of project status, major issues, scope changes, resource changes and milestone achievements or misses. . Manage the full systems development life cycle of assigned projects to ensure comprehensive, timely and high quality outcomes of assigned projects. . Identify and engage all key stakeholders, contributors and business and technical resources that must participate in projects and ensure that contributors are motivated to complete assigned tasks within the parameters of the project plan. . Facilitate regular project meetings and follow up with team members as required to focus on business and operational issues or technical issues. . Document, assign and monitor all projects issues to ensure clearance with minimal impact to project progress. . Remain current on technical and professional developments affecting area of responsibility. Experience Required: . Experience in managing commercially deployed software applications is a must. . 5+ years experience in the IT Industry (2 years in the healthcare industry a plus). . 3-5 years of management/project management experience. . Requires technical and management skills appropriate to the position. . Requires strong oral and written communication skills. . Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently. . Experience with multiple programming languages including Java, .NET, and Cache. . Experience with Database Management (MS-SQL Server, Cache, and/or Oracle). . Experience working with MS Project is a must. . Crystal Reports is a plus. Education Required: .
