Job Description:
Responsible for the design and/or development of software for
platforms, peripherals, applications or tools using a range of
applicable technologies (e.g., programming languages, compilers,
assemblers and other tools) and state-of-the-art software engineering
methodologies. Responsible for the delivery of products within budget,
schedule, and quality guidelines.
Required Experience:
• Experienced web and Windows application developer able to develop
and enhance software applications and tools
• Proficient in object-oriented development languages such as C#, VB,
Java-script – java is also preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft platforms, specifically: .NET, ASP.NET, and
Win32
• Database development experience in MS SQL Server 2xxx – may
integrate with other DB platforms like Oracle
• In-depth knowledge of web enablement technologies such as: XML,
HTML, ActiveX and SOAP
• Experience developing and integrating with new and legacy Service
Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Ability to develop .NET software applications independently based on
Software Design Specifications (SDS) and inputs from the development
team
• Experience integrating ASP.NET with content management systems such
as Dell’s STORM framework.
• Experience internationalizing / globalizing ASP.NET applications.
