Description: Duration: 6 Months
Location: Trenton, NJ
The Product Specialist is the expert for the development, enhancement and
implementation of the existing network environment and set of products. Primary
responsibility is to ensure availability and facilitate productive use.
Hardware Maintenance
Support and administer all local area network hardware.
Support and administer all wide area network hardware.
Network Management System
Support and maintain the agency's Network Management systems.
NJDHS Infrastructure
Review and then assist in the implementation of the agency Wide Area
Network.
Continue to enhance and assist in the agency Network Redundancy project
and environment
Continue to extend and assist in the agency Disaster Recovery Project
Plan and implement Cisco IOS Upgrades
Maintain and support the NJSPIRIT Infrastructure and data communications
Plan and implement the NJKIDS Infrastructure and data communications
Security Framework
Recommend ways of enhancing the Network Environment (LAN, WAN and
Enterprise).
Support Operations
Liaison support to Windows Networking Services, Application Development;
Enterprise Business and Collaboration & Communications Operations, and agencies
accessing the network services.
Tier III support
Monitor network environment health
Audit environment for compliance
