UNIX System Administrator.

Description:
. Provides expert technical support and consultation for operating
systems and applications.
. Conducts and coordinates the analysis, planning, implementation, and
upgrading of systems software and application software.
. Participates in Stress Testing and performs analysis of the results.
. Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, debugs, maintains, modifies, and
documents operating systems and application components.
. Identifies and resolves complex systems problems.
. Monitors and gathers performance statistics to assist in determining
hardware requirements and communication bandwidth to support projected
transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets.
. After hours, weekend work and On-call rotation is required.
Experience:
Must possess 5+ years of enterprise support experience with two or more
of the following:
. Solaris 8 or 10 (with zoning)
. AIX
. HP-UX (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
. RedHat Linux
. Good communication skills (this is a must) both written and verbal
. Experience with Veritas volume manager
. Knowledge of middleware like WebLogic, WebSphere and even apache.
. Shell scripting
