Skills Required:
Siebel experience with Server installation, configuration & Administration
Siebel 7.x Certification.
Experience with Siebel 7.x performance Tuning techniques
Experience with Siebel 7.x load balancing techniques
Experience with Siebel 7.x High Availability techniques
Experience with networking concepts/technologies/principals
2 + years hands-on knowledge of server hardware (Windows/AIX)
Hands-on experience with LAN operating systems (Windows NT, Unix, etc.)
2 + years experience managing/administering/operating appropriate systems
and Database (DB2)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
. Daily hardware and or software maintenance
. Troubleshoot hardware/software/connectivity problems
. Monitoring/maintaining/administering system security [hardware, OS,
etc]
. Monitoring and reporting of system performance, utilization, uptime,
security, etc.
. Tuning (continually) the system for maximum performance
. Develop/maintain & test appropriate disaster recovery plans
. Creating / terminating user accounts
. Monitoring / responding to system requests
. Resolving systems issues escalated by internal helpdesk
. Assist and support developers to resolve problems on supported
platforms
. Assisting developers & determining upgrade and /or system requirements
to support new applications
. Maintain current system(s) documentation / drawings
