Consultant Description: Enterprise Solutions Specialist (SAP PP) LOCATION: Smyrna, TN Summary / Purpose Responsible for the design, development and upgrade of PP module from version 4.7c to ECC 6.0. SPECIFIC SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILTIES: Six plus years experience with configuration of SAP PP(Production Planning) module. Two full life cycle implementations / upgrades (ECC 5.0 / 6.0) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to perform all duties of the consultant SAP PP Enterprise Solution Specialist and: .Write functional specifications for application development, enhancements and testing. .Serve as escalation point for troubleshooting issues per OLA and SLA. .Perform hands on complex configuration in PP module. .Provide functional advice and assistance to programmers. .Participate in the exchange of ideas and information upgrade team. .Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style. .Ask questions; encourage input from team members. .Provide regular updates to appropriate managers. .Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems). .Confer with reporting manager on complex or unusual situations. .Exchange knowledge and information with other personnel and consultants to ensure best practices are shared throughout the organization and project. .Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, that is specific. .Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. .Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to the IT systems, as an external resource.
