*Overview*:

Responsible for leading the install, configuration, design activities for
Configuration management. This process lead is responsible for making agreed
design modifications and for collaborating with other process and technology
leads in maintaining the consistency and integrity of the client processes
utilizing the *Atlassian t**oolset.*



*Requirements*:

1.       *Must have previous experience Architecting & rolling out
Jiraconfiguration management tools.
*This product will be replacing BugZilla.

2.       Must have exp preparing “steering & driving the right strategic
choices” used for Configuration management. Should be adept in the following
areas:

§  Roles and Responsibilities Review and Mapping

§  Process Policies and Principles

§  Process Workflow Review and Modification

§  Key Process Metrics (i.e., KPIs): Review Currently Implemented Metrics,
Analyze New Metrics Required

§  Procedure Identification

3.       Review current CMDB capabilities, instances, data sources, and
import mechanisms

4.       Conduct design activities for the CMDB schema: CI structure,
attributes, relationships for primary domains (e.g., network devices,
computers, operating systems and middleware, databases, and applications).

5.       Make recommendations for the Configuration Management Plan

6.       Attention to detail is imperative. Position requires routinely
looking beyond what is requested to create greater value and process
efficiency

7.       Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.

8.       Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator (sales oriented in approach). Good writing skills and
ability to multi task in the support of this project.
