Job Description:
* The candidate must be a self-starter and be able to work with
little/no supervision.
* Analyze business requirements and technical specification
documents
to develop the test cases and scenarios.
* The position will also include working with business and
technical
resources to analyze problems encountered in testing and determining
changes required to correct problems.
* Report daily status to test lead/tech lead
* Should be able to participate in test planning, coordination
and
resource estimation for the project.
* Should be able to track and monitor the testing progress of the
project and provide status to Test Lead/Manager
* Should be able to Coordinate with different teams.
* Should be able to identify issues and followed it till
completion.
* Should be able to work on multiple projects at the same time.
* Should be able to manage the test effort for the project.
Required Skills:
1 Good understanding
* Has a good understanding of testing methodology.
* Log test results/defects and perform test results analysis.
2 Working experience (8-10 years of application testing experience)
* IBM AppScan and Fortify PTA
* Has Experience testing Java Applications.
* Has Experience with mainframe programming such as Cobol and JCL
* Has Experience with database structures.
* Has experience setting up and testing new or old batch
programs,
JCL and PROCS
* Has reviewed, documented and organized test cases results and
defects.
3 Extensive experience
* Should be able to manage the test effort for the project.
* The QA Tester must have experience creating automated scripts
for
regression testing and performance testing.
* The Tester must have extensive experience writing SQL queries.
4 Subject matter depth and breadth
* Healthcare experience
5 Big PlusProvider Registration, Credentialing and Health plan
enrollment business processes experience
* Provider Registration,& Credentialing business processes
knowledge
* Any experience with Visual Cactus or PORTICO products
Knowledge of underwriter work queue management, Direct bill
membership
business processes. Provider Registration, Credentialing and Health
plan
enrollment
