Must possess 4 - 7 years of BI experience with, with specific implementation skill of working with the Business Objects XI product suite · Demonstrated proficiency and experience with BO Enterprise business intelligence platform, including Voyager, Web Intelligence, OLAP Intelligence, Dashboard Builder, Dashboard Manager, Crystal Reports Server/Developer and Crystal Xcelsius · Experience in migrations, implementations and configurations is preferred as well as web deployments to external users · Experience in Business Objects and Crystal Reports report and universe design and development · Knowledge and experience integrating SAS datasets into report solution is a plus · Experience with design and development of Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models for a data warehouse (normalized and dimensional) · Demonstrated proficiency using SQL (6+ years). Should have experience with stored procedures. · Experience with administrating / architecting multiple business intelligence tool suites (Microstrategy 8.x and Business Objects XIr2 preferred) · Experience in business intelligence tool capacity and infrastructure planning · Operating System Experience should include (Solaris/UNIX, Red Hat Linux, Windows XP - · Retail and ecommerce reporting and analysis experience. · Experience with customer marketing, CRM is highly desirable · Experience with NCR's Retail Logical Data Model a plus · Experience working with iterative software development methodologies · Experience using data modeling tools (Erwin) · UNIX Shell scripting experience (2-4 years) · Teradata and Business Objects certification a plus al Functions · Work with business partners, architects, and BI development team to gather and create business/data requirements for new development or enhancements to Business Objects or Crystal reports · Works closely with business partners to understand and document decision support needs · Leads the definition of business views for data subject areas and manages the implementation and maintenance of reporting and analysis applications. Creates data mappings\data dictionaries\report definitions for tables and database views for all reporting forms · Designs, develops and administers numerous mid to highly complex BO universes · Manages support of front-end BI systems deployment and maintenance; Upgrade, administer and maintain the Business Objects environment on the server · Perform system testing and quality assurance testing for reports · Support end- users in UAT/Production and research and issues and/or concerns · Provide project planning input, level of effort estimates for new BO development projects, enhancements and production support activities · Manages the BI applications library, including version control for existing applications and appropriate · Performs data integrity analysis and troubleshooting between source systems and the data warehouse.
