As per the request of some SAPAC members, and to add some much needed frivolity,
I encourage caffeinated relaxation while reading e-mail discussions.  Namely, I
recommend my coveted formula of hot-n-spicy soothing sweetness below.  Warning:
 Not suitable for diabetics unless utilizing sugar substitute.

Sadaf�s Chatpata Chai Recipe (Makes 4 cups of Indian-American Milk Tea) 

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
Add 1 can (1 cup) condensed milk. Stir with a spoon.
You may also substitute 5 cups soy or whole milk for smooth taste.
Add 4 black (Earl Grey) tea bags.

Preferably using a mortar and pestle, crush and add the following spices.
4 cardamom pods
4 whole cloves

You may also grind or mix and add the following spices.
1 tsp. Cinnamon (Stick)
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 tsp. Garam Masala
1/2 tsp. Whole Peppercorns

No need to add sugar.  "Tastes like candy!"  Strain and serve.

Optional Items (Filtration recommended)
Pinch of Saffron
4 Bay Leaves
1 small piece of fresh Ginger root
1 tsp. Chai Masala Powder e.g. MDH brand
1 tsp. Fennel Seeds
1 tbsp. Honey
Whipped Cream topping
