*Description:***
The SERVICE NOW Systems Analyst with JavaScript will be responsible for
developing functionality in a *Web 2.0 (very high plus)* environment for the
implementation of ITIL based processes. This is a development role which
will also require analysis skills.
* *
*Experience:*
The ideal candidate will have in excess of five years of experience
implementing web based solutions. A background in the *IT Infrastructure
Library (ITIL)* business process, ITSM and a working knowledge of IT
operations are also required.
This role will report to the project manager, and require a high degree of
collaboration with the analysts and test teams. Responsibilities will
include developing new functions, creating enhancements, and fixing issues.
The role will involve development based on requirements specifications, but
we are also looking for a candidate that can offer up solutions to business
problems based on analysis.
Candidates who understand a platform as a service or service catalogues are
ideal.
*Requirements:*
- Experience with *Web Technologies (XML, HTML, Web Services, etc.)*
- Five years or more of *JavaScript* development experience in all web
technologies
- Experience developing tools using *PaaS (Platform as a Service), such
as Force.com, Google Apps, etc.** ***
- Experience with *ITIL (Certification is not required, but solid
exposure/ experience is mandatory)* related *software, such as Remedy, CA
Service Desk or Service-Now*.
- Knowledge of *CMDB and/or Asset Management Services;* *Business
Services and Configuration Item relationships is a plus.** *
- Consultant will also be doing basic unit testing there is another group
that will be doing the final acceptance testing.
*Other Information:*
- Candidates need to have very strong Javascripting skills together with
need what is listed as minimum requirements in order to be selected for an
interview.
- Candidates additionally must have experience with *Service-Now along
with ITIL or ITSM.* If the candidates have, at least, 1 of the 3 things
mentioned in addition to Javascript and strong analysis skills, then the
hiring manager will be interested in setting up interviews.
- Candidates will be doing more configuration and analysis work than
development work. **
- The client is decommissioning Remedy and they purchased Service-Now as
a replacement. * *
**The selected consultant must have his/her own means of transportation in
order to travel to the client’s offices in downtown Boston on an as needed
basis.*
